About Our Elopements & Micro Weddings

Established in March 2020, the Ballarat Marriage Registry was created to offer stress free, memorable & elegant elopements & micro wedding marriage ceremonies. In early 2023 the Ballarat Marriage Registry Elopements found a new home at Ballarat's stunning historic 'Llanfyllin House' and has grown to offer full weddings in collaboration with 'Allurah' and a number of highly regarding Ballarat Wedding professionals, with packages which include venue, food & beverages, photography, celebrant, live entertainment, videography, content creation, M.C services, accommodation and more! 

The Ballarat Marriage Registry is owned and operated by 14 time ABIA Finalist from 2011-2024, 2021 Victorian Top 5 & Australian Top 15 Marriage Celebrant Kate Ritchie.

 Kate is an expert Celebrant, highly experienced wedding professional who is energetic, fun and engaging. An Authorised Marriage Celebrant since 2008, Kate's strengths lie in the ease of communication, being highly organised and her attention to detail.    

Kate is also the a passionate promoter of local Ballarat Wedding businesses as the Founder of the Ballarat Wedding Collective and Ballarat Wish Leader with nationally registered charity www.myweddingwish.org - Gifting weddings to the terminally ill.
