About Our Elopements & Wedding Packages

Established in March 2020, the Ballarat Marriage Registry was created to offer stress free, memorable & elegant elopements & micro wedding marriage ceremonies. In early 2023 the Ballarat Marriage Registry Elopements found a new home at Ballarat's stunning historic 'Llanfyllin House' and has since grown to also offer full service wedding packages in collaboration with picturesque 'Allurah' and a number of highly regarded Ballarat Wedding professionals. Full service wedding packages include venue, all catering & beverages, photography, marriage celebrant, live entertainment, videography, content creation, M.C services, accommodation and more! 

The Ballarat Marriage Registry is owned and operated by 14 time ABIA Finalist from 2011-2024, 2024 Victorian Top 8 & Australian Top 15 Marriage Celebrant Kate Ritchie.

 Kate is an expert Marriage Celebrant, with over 25years in the Wedding Industry who is professional, energetic, fun and engaging. An Authorised Marriage Celebrant since 2008, Kate's strengths lie in the ease of communication, being highly organised and her attention to detail.    

Kate is also a passionate promoter of local Ballarat Wedding businesses as the Founder of the Ballarat Wedding Collective and Ballarat Wish Leader with nationally registered charity www.myweddingwish.org - Gifting weddings to the terminally ill.
